Politics: W. Woodfall (printer of the Morning Chronicle) attended House of Lords yesterday to answer charges re. his publishing a paragraph reflecting on the honour & dignity of that House. He spoke in his own defence for c. 15 min & was fined £100 & sentenced to one month's imprisonment. The keeper of Newgate accommodated him with apartment in the Lodge. (London, 15 Mar.)
