Crime: Old Bailey trial - Geo. & Joseph Weston for robbing Bath & Bristol Mail at Cranford Bdg on 29 Jan. 1781. Geo Weston was in possn stolen banknotes, but cart-boy's deposition was 1 man did robbery, but which? Both acquitted, but immediately tried on other charges & capitally convicted.
