Law: Woodford v Garland @ Wells Assizes (before Mr Naith Grove) - plaintiff suffered broken leg after defendant's coach overturned. Number of outside passengers exceeded the legal limit. Although bad state of roads was probably greatest cause, verdict for plaintiff Woodford.
