Law: Wilts Assizes - Nisi Prius bar, writ of Right brought by Mr Shadwell of Hastings on behalf of a poor man named Mitchel as heir at law to the Court of a lunatic to recover a farm at Bradford occup by Farmer Spencer. Compromise settlement, defendant agreed to pay arrears of rent from 1788, less repair costs, while plaintiff granted him lease for life at old rent of £200 p.a (said to be worth £300 p.a)
