Publications: ## letter from "Regulus" Bath 15 Sept asking Magistrates to ban "pay-tables" in public houses. They require a man to pay for a quart of beer before he can receive his meagre weekly payment. Also, late payment after market has closed prevents him buying necessary provisions, and exposes him to buckster shops on Sunday morning.
